At the heart of the LS50 wireless speakers is their 12th-generation Uni-Q driver array.
This KEF-exclusive setup places the 25mm tweeter in the acoustic centre of the midrange cone, creating an immersive, room-wide sound that is elevated further by the powerful 5.25-inch driver.
To ensure optimal sound clarity, Metamaterial Absorption Technology (MAT) absorbs the rear wave of the tweeter.
This extinguishes 99% of any unwanted sound reflections, resulting in a world-class high-frequency response.
The LS50W II’s are fitted with a Music Integrity Engine, which uses Digital Signal Processing (DSP) to optimise the audio in real time.
These active speakers also feature a combination of a 100W class A/B and a 280W class D amplifier to independently power the tweeter and mid/bass driver respectively.
