Developed specifically for speaker cabinet manufacturers that are looking for an easy to apply coating that offers high protection and a professional finish.
Montage Cabinet Paint provides a hardwearing, tough spatter finish that has excellent texture and offers excellent
durability. Montage Cabinet Paint is an acrylic primer and topcoat in one, designed for over-coating a wide variety
of substrates.
This water borne finish which is based on a high-performance self cross-linking acrylic resin,
is safe of use and has no strong odours.
It is quick drying and easy to apply whilst providing good coverage and texture.

Montage Cabinet Paint provides excellent adhesion, UV resistance and will impart superior chip and scratch
resistance. It provides a spatter finish which is durable, protective and decorative finish for many
surfaces.
Limitations
Not suitable for structures where existing paint is flaking, cracking, or other failure.

Performance of coating is reliant on correct preparation and application
Surface Preparation
New Surfaces
• Surfaces should be free of grease, oil, salts and other contaminants before application.
• Detergent wash if necessary, followed by a clean water rinse, preferably with a power washer.
• Surfaces should be dry before ShieldTec AC-206 is applied.
Existing Coatings
• Test adhesion of the existing coating to the substrate.
• Test overall thickness of coating to substrate.
• For loose, flaking or otherwise defective areas, carefully remove to a firm edge.
• Abrade gloss-coated surfaces to provide a key.
• For retained coatings, thoroughly clean to remove dirt, grease and contaminants.
• Surfaces should be dry before Montage Cabinet Paint is applied.
Pretesting
It is recommended that a test area be treated to ensure compatibility with, and adhesion to existing system.
Mixing
One pack system. Stir well before use.
Application Conditions
Min ambient temperature: 8°C
Min substrate temperature: 8°C
Max substrate temperature: 40°C
Max relative humidity: 60%
Recommended optimum conditions for speedy drying:
Ambient temperature 20°C at relative humidity below 45%.
Application Instructions
Follow surface preparation instructions and ensure application conditions have been met.
For best application apply Montage Cabinet Paint using conventional or compliant air spray equipment.

Clean-Up
Equipment should be cleaned immediately with water.
Dried paint may be removed with aromatic or oxygenated solvents.
Storage
Store between 5°C and 30° C.
Maximum storage period is 6 months in original containers.
