The 18 Sound ND3G 1.4‑inch neodymium compression driver uses a Glass‑and‑PEN composite diaphragm for fast transient response and reduced high‑frequency resonance.
A 75 mm edge‑wound aluminum coil on a treated Nomex former improves linearity, durability, and moisture resistance.
Its self‑centering diaphragm simplifies servicing.
The compact neodymium motor delivers a 20 KGauss gap, while a precision alloy phase plug and copper ring lower inductance and distortion.
Eighteen Sound applies a corrosion‑resistant treatment to the magnet and plates for long‑term reliability in harsh environments.
